Variations
of the Rifles Mosin-Nagant
From Karl-Heinz Wrobel
This „article" deals with the
variations of the rifles and carbines Mosin-Nagant
and shows the different brands on the different models
of those rifles. At least 23 countries used, altered
and branded those guns in some cases. Many more states
used them. The following list will help you to find
out, that you NEVER will be able to collect all variations
of the rifles Mosin-Nagant. Some of those rifles are
ultra rare, like the old Russian carbines, the Finnish
snipers or the Polish wz. 91/98/23. Though I enlisted
just rifles with standard infantry calibers (no training
rifles in cal. .22 for instance), you will find more
than 260 variations. But I am sure I did not enlist
all, so I would be glad if you would tell me the ones
I forgot.
